Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia Treatment Center

As the survival of very low birth weight babies increases, the number of babies with a form of chronic lung disease also increases. This usually temporary form of chronic lung disease is called bronchopulmonary dysplasia or BPD.  Our BPD follow-up program has been in place for 16 years under the direction of our Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine faculty and staff. Patients are seen weekly until their BPD resolves.
