Jennifer Bowers, R.N. M.S.N. CP.N.P.

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Jennie Bowers is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP). She received her Bachelor of
Science degree in Biology-Psychology at Birmingham-Southern College and her Master of Science degree in Nursing at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. She is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. She worked in the newborn nursery at Baptist Hospital before joining the Vanderbilt Division of Developmental Medicine. Ms. Bowers evaluates children with developmental disabilities including developmental delay, autism, ADHD, and motor impairments. She is also a team member in the Down Syndrome Clinic.
Jennifer Hamilton, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Jennifer Hamilton is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She completes initial assessments with families to assist them in securing appropriate services for their child and family, and she also assists families with young children implement strategies to help with challenging behavior. Early intervention for children 0-3 and their families is an area of special interest.
Jordan E. McClain, M.Ed.

Behavior Consultant

Jordan McLain is a graduate of Vanderbilt University Peabody’s College, earning her Master's degree in Education. She also completed her undergraduate degree at Vanderbilt University earning her teaching license for early childhood education. Ms. McLain helps families develop behavior plans to improve children’s behavior in areas such as toilet training, sleep habits, communication, and aggression. Ms. McLain also works as the behavior consultant in the Autism and Behavior Management Clinic.
Natalie N. Owen, R.N. M.S.N. CP.N.P.

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner & Newborn Screening Coordinator
Instructor of Clinical Nursing

Ms. Owen completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. She is certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. She also received her Bachelor's degree in Child Development from Vanderbilt University. She worked in a pediatric primary care office in Maryland as a registered nurse before joining the Vanderbilt Division of Medical Genetics and Genomic Medicine in July 2008. Ms. Owen evaluates and manages the care of pediatric patients with inborn errors of metabolism and is also the coordinator of newborn screening results for the Middle Tennessee region.
Allison Wells, R.N. M.S.N. CP.N.P.

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Ms. Wells received her Bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University in 2004. She earned her Master of Science degree in Nursing from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in 2007. She is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB) as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Before joining the team in the Division of Developmental Medicine in March 2009, she worked as a registered nurse at Children's Hospital. Ms. Wells evaluates children with developmental disabilities, including developmental delay, autism, ADHD and motor
impairments. She also sees patients in the Neurogenetics clinic.
