This class prepares expectant women and their support person for breastfeeding. The course includes information on how to successfully breastfeed your baby, breastfeeding options for returning to work, pumping and management of common breastfeeding problems.

This 5 week series offers expectant women and their support person in-depth information concerning pregnancy, labor and delivery and postpartum. Pain management techniques for birth are taught which include breathing, relaxation, epidural anesthesia, pain medication, and other coping techniques. A tour of labor and delivery, the newborn nursery and postpartum rooms is included.

| Meets on a Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This one day class is only taught once about every 6 to 8 weeks. This class is limited to the first 20 couples that are pre-registered. You must be pre-registered and confirmed in order to attend class. Please arrive 15 minutes early in order to sign in and pay fee of $75.00 per couple. Due to the limited amount of classroom space, no walk-ins are accepted.
This class includes information about labor and delivery, anesthesia, epidurals, cesarean sections, postpartum care and a tour of the family care center. This class is ideal for parents anticipating use of an epidural or those wanting a refresher. A tour of labor and delivery, the newborn nursery and postpartum rooms is included.

For expectant parents and adoptive parents, this class includes practical information on how to care for your newborn during the first month of life. Topics include: family adjustment, bathing, diapering, signs of illness, safety, newborn characteristics and behavior.

You must be pre-registered and confirmed in order to attend class. Please arrive 15 minutes early in order to sign in and pay fee of $15 per family for 1 child and $10 for each additional child. Ages 3 to 10. Due to the limited amount of classroom space, no walk-ins are accepted.
This child-centered tour and class introduces children to the changes that occur in a family with a newborn baby. The children also tour the obstetric unit and nursery areas.

This class is for families who plan for their child to attend the birth. Each child will need to bring a support person other than a parent to class and to the hospital delivery. Parents are also expected to attend. Siblings are required to take this class in order to attend the birth.
