The Consultation/Second Opinion Clinic is a great option for any child with perplexing signs and symptoms or if a second opinion is desired by either you or a caregiver. A few examples of signs or symptoms for which we are pleased to consult include fever, cough, rash, abdominal pain, headaches, joint pain, failure to thrive, short stature, and ADHD. For non-urgent problems, patients can usually be seen within several weeks. For your patients who require a more urgent assessment, please ask to speak to the attending in the Children's Hospital Primary Care Clinic about a next-day evaluation. Appointments are generally available every morning at 8:00 AM. The appointment length is 30-60 minutes. Pertinent medical records should be faxed or mailed prior to the visit.
This clinic is located on the 8th Floor of the Doctors' Office Tower located within the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
