Biography Melinda Houston Markham, M.D., is an assistant professor of Neonatology at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. She previously served as clinical staff in the emergency department at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and as a clinical instructor in the departments of emergency medicine and neonatology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Markham received her medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She also completed her internship and residency there. It was at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital where she completed her neonatology fellowship. She has done research on pulmonary hypertension in babies with congenital diaphragmatic hernia. Her clinical interest is in pulmonary hypertension, fetal diagnosis and postnatal management of infants with fetal malformation diagnosis.<< Back |
