Palliative care post demands caring touch

Karen Cassidy, M.D., M.P.H., assistant professor of Pediatrics, has been named director of Palliative Medicine at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.

The position is a challenging one: working with families whose children have life-threatening or life-limiting illnesses.
