The Kaylen Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of children and families enduring an illness resulting in an extended hospital stay by providing financial and emotional assistance through fund-raising.
Our foundation holds an annual fund-raising event to benefit the children and families in the Pediatric Critical Care Unit at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. The money raised is used to purchase toys, clothes, and books for the children. In addition to these items, we provide food, gas, clothing, and accommodations for the families. We feel by providing these necessities it enables the children and families a less-stressful environment. Our dream is that the Kaylen Foundation will provide strength and comfort to every person it benefits. We know Kaylen and Tallant will always have a special place in the hearts of every person that knew them.

Kaylen For Kids K4K hosts events and activities the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 10:30-12:00 pm. We provide music, story time, crafts, and goodies for the children. K4K gives the children and families the opportunity to leave their room for some fun time shared by many. We are always looking for volunteers to perform, or share their talents. If you are interested in donating your time for an event, please call Carisa M. Burr at 615-791-9583 or send an E-mail to kaylenfoundation@comcast.net.
