Jade's Fund is a foundation that was created in 2000 to honor the memory of Jessica and Irvin Pasley's daughter, Jade, who lost her battle with leukemia in 2000 at age 2. The fund helps families of children undergoing cancer treatment at the Children's Hospital with everyday living expenses that typically fall behind when a child is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness, often requiring a parent to stop working.
Donations are still being counted, but the $100,000 fund-raising goal for the event is expected to be met, according to Jessica Pasley.
