As a service to our patients and families, we provide a special ground and air ambulances that carry infants requiring acute stabilization and specialized care during transport to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Newest Angel
We recently welcomed a new addition to our neonatal transport fleet - the "Angel 1" ambulance now serving Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky. 2009 marks the 35th anniversary of the neonatal transport program.
The ambulance is approximately 32 feet long and is stocked with state-of-the-art equipment to stabilize and transport two critically ill neonates simultaneously.
