The main number for Adolescent Medicine at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt is 615.936.8200. This number will connect you to a menu of options for our clinic (sick visits, well patient or follow-up appointments, physician's offices, mental health, eating disorders, nutritionist appointments, prescription refills, administrative issues, etc.).

• If you are calling about an appointment, choose Option #2
  • To schedule a Mental Health, Eating Disorder, or Nutrition appointment, choose Option #1
  • For all other appointments, or to speak with the nurse regarding prescription refills or needed forms, choose option #2

• For recorded directions to our clinic, choose Option #4.

Your Visit
In order to keep your child's appointment running smoothly, we ask that you bring the following information with you to the initial appointment:

• Prior health records, including growth information
• Immunization records
• Psychological test reports
• School records
• Other relevant information

When consulting for a specific concern or illness, please bring prior test results, including X-rays, if available. A summary of the concern from a referring physician or other professional is always helpful.
