The Plastic and Reconstructive Center at Children's Hospital offers diagnosis and treatment for cosmetic and reconstructive problems in children and adolescents who require major and minor alterations of their physical appearance. Our experienced plastic surgeons perform a full range of cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures including birth defects, tumors, trauma (including burns), cleft lip and palate, birthmarks and other problems of the face, head, trunk, and extremities (including the hands).

At the Vanderbilt Craniofacial Treatment Center, we treat children from five states as well as from outside the United States. We are nationally recognized as a top center for the treatment of cleft lip and palate abnormalities.
We perform surgery to treat a variety of congenital hand deformities (abnornalities that are present at birth), as well as injuries.
