Pediatric Neurosurgical Services at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital is comprised by a multi-disciplinary team that offers numerous clinical programs and provides treatment for all types of neurological conditions.
We treat patients with the following neurological conditions:
- Brain tumors
- Congenital malformations of the brain and spinal cord, including tethered cord and chiari malformations
- Epilepsy
- Head trauma
- Hydrocephalus
- Myelodysplasia (Spina bifida)
- Spasticity and cerebral palsy
- Vascular malformations, including AVMs, aneurysms, Vein of Galen, cavernous malformations, and moyamoya syndrome
We provide the following services for our pediatric patients, as needed:
- Cranio-facial surgery
- Fetal surgery for spina bifida
- Neurosurgery clinic
- Ventriculoscopy
- Antenatal evaluations
