Pediatric Neurosurgical Services at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital is comprised by a multi-disciplinary team that offers numerous clinical programs and provides treatment for all types of neurological conditions.

We treat patients with the following neurological conditions:

• Brain tumors
• Congenital malformations of the brain and spinal cord, including tethered cord and chiari malformations
• Epilepsy
• Head trauma
• Hydrocephalus
• Myelodysplasia (Spina bifida)
• Spasticity and cerebral palsy
• Vascular malformations, including AVMs, aneurysms, Vein of Galen, cavernous malformations, and moyamoya syndrome

We provide the following services for our pediatric patients, as needed:

• Cranio-facial surgery
• Fetal surgery for spina bifida
• Neurosurgery clinic
• Ventriculoscopy
• Antenatal evaluations
