The Children's Diabetes Program at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt is an integral part of the Vanderbilt Eskind Diabetes Clinic. It provides comprehensive diabetes care to more than 2,000 children with diabetes from Middle Tennessee and seven surrounding states.
Integration of pediatric and adult services in a single clinic creates an environment that enhances both diabetes care and research. Seamless transition of patients from pediatric to adult diabetes care is possible in this unique clinic setting.
